CROMWELL VALLEY PARK HAWKWATCH Saturday, Sept. 10th 2005

Morning haze cleared out by 9:30am and the hawks began to fly. Most activity was between 10:00
am and noon. Several HawkWatch sites to our north are just starting to get high Broad-winged
hawk counts. We plan to have someone at CVP every day from Thursday Sept. 15th through
Sunday the 25th in order to catch the big push of Broad-wings we hope to get. Anyone can track
the migration southward by visiting

As the BW Hawks approach Maryland in large numbers I will try to post the info on MDOSPREY in
order to get as many people under these spectacular flights as possible!!
