New Year Birds in QA County and last of 05

   Hi all Happy 2006 my last birds of 2005  were a large flock  of Snow 
Geese  2,000  + or -  . I  spent more than and hour looking through  them 
for Ross's no luck. They were in a farm field on  Rolling Bridge Rd  near 
Centreville and near Rt 309.   My first Birds  of 2006 this morning were a  
Goldfinch  at the feeder in my yard  second bird was a Carolina Chickadee  
also at the feeder . Other birds in my Queenstown Yard or nearby

Red tailed Hawk      1
Flicker      6
Eastern Bluebirds   2
BlueJay       12
American Crow     3
Song  Sparrow     2
Cardinal          3


Between Some errands  I checked so other spots

Back to The Pond at Rt 309 near 213 were

Snow Geese      4
Ring Necked Duck     3

Rolling Bridge Rd      [ still no  Ross's  ]    did not have a lot of time 
to look today  and  birds backlit

Snow   Geese       2,000
Cackling Goose      1     in the mist of the  snows  in the field
Ruddy    Duck     5     in pond near  Rt 301
Great  Blue Heron     1

Jackson Creek     Grasonville   behind  Holly's hotel and eatery   near Rt 
50
