Yesterday at 7:30pm, off Corsica Neck rd in Centreville, I heard a Long-eared Owl. It was heard off in the distance, and sounded exactly like the call of a Long-eared Owl. I'm not sure of the earliest and latest dates they have recorded a Long-eared Owl in Queen Anne's County, but I am for sure this was a Long-eared Owl. I stopped to listen to 2 pairs of Great Horned Owls hooting back and forth to each other when I heard the low, muffled "poos" in behind the Great Horned Owls.  This was the First Long-eared Owl I have heard in Queen Anne's County.
