I walked from Sycamore Landing Road to Hughes Hollow in the rain this morning. Highlights included 3 re-shouldered hawks (1 pair and 1 individual) and 2 catbirds along River Road.

The back fields at Hughes Hollow near the Canal are  getting very wet, at one point I had to walk into the woods to find a sufficiently shallow spot to cross.
