Hi all . Bill you are correct thar the Chesapeake Bay Environmental
Center used to have Captive birds. They do not have any now except for a
Trumpeter Swan in the pond area at the vistor Center . They mostly housed
Native waterfowl even when they had captive birds . But I seem to
remember a drake white Cheeked Pintail in the vistor center pond a few
years back . On Sun morning Jan 29 I tried to relocate kevin Graff's Red
Necked Grebe he had on sat but had no luck in doing so . Also tried to find
the Eurasian Wigeon again no luck with that as well . The rain set in and
it was unpleastant to be out in it so I tried some car birding nearby
Cabin Creek had 2 male Red Breasted Mergansers , Jackson Creek ,
Prospect Bay and Kent Narrows each had Common Loon. this is all in the
Grasonville area.
Happy Birding
