As I was coming out of the subway at Farragut North this morning, around 7:30, I saw a very fast raptor dashing through the flock of the pigeons that is always there. It didn't get anything but the pigeons scattered in a hurry. The bird then flew to the top of a nearby building where I couldn't see it. It was large and very fast, but I couldn't see any color or facial pattern. Unfortunately I had to go to work and couldn't hang around to try to see it again, but I'd like to think that it might have been a Peregrine. Has anybody seen a Peregrine in that location (Connecticut and K, NW)?
