From a brief trip to the Taneytown area:
3 Red-headed Woodpeckers along Ruggles Road, one immature White-crowned Sparrow and Eastern meadowlark along Keysville Road, Red-tailed Hawk on the nest at Sixes Bridge Road, numbers of kestrels.

One singing Horned Lark on Old Frederick Road west of Rte 32 in northern Howard County.
