Monday (Mar 27) at Powell's Run Rd I finally heard a singing Field
Sparrow. That seems awfully late. I also got a good look at a Fox
Sparrow there, lots of Song Sparrows, and 1 Towhee. The two little
wetlands are now drylands.

Backtracking to Friday Mar 24, at Soldier's Delight there were at
least 5 Red-breasted Nuthatches at two locations, but not a single
Field Sparrow seen or heard, where they should be very common soon. I
also heard 3 Pine Warblers there, and many Blue Jays and Juncos were
present.
