50-67 degrees; completely cloudy, becoming sunny; poor to fair visibility,
winds light and variable.
Raptor Observations:
Most of the raptors came in the two-hour window between when the skies
began to clear and when we lost all the clouds.
Non-raptor Observations:
Fifty-one Common Loons sitting on the water and 53 flying north;
Black-crowned Night Heron; 2 Spotted Sandpipers.

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest.
