Hi, All

We had a wonderful treat on Friday (sorry for late post) with a male rose-
breasted grosbeak five feet from our kitchen window at our feeder. It was
back again in the evening, too.

Today (May 6), we visited Blackwater Wildlife Refuge with the following
highlights:

worm-eating warbler
2 red-headed woodpeckers
great crested flycatcher
orchard orioles (several)
Male summer tanager
solitary sandpiper

At Deal Island we saw:
a few boat-tailed grackles
2 black-necked stilts
2-3 seaside sparrows
several glossy ibises
heard marsh wrens
4 tricolored herons
royal and Forster's terns
heard clapper rail

It was a great day for biding!
