As I was driving into Goddard (Greenbelt, PG) today, I heard a bird
singing that I couldn't ID right away, so after parking my car, I walked
back to where I had heard the singing, where there is little woodland, a
couple of acres of big trees. The bird turned out to be a Wood Thrush,
singing phrases that I had never heard before (but quite beautiful). As
I was standing there listening to the thrush, I realized that there was
a Cape May Warbler singing (well - squeaking), far above me directly
overhead. I listened to both for about 5 minutes, after which they
seemed to move off in the same direction (where I couldn't follow), the
thrush low, and the warbler still high in the trees. Never saw either one.

There was a Red-eyes Vireo singing nearby - it stayed.
