The water level at the North Beach Marsh was ideal this morning. The
highlight was clearly the pair of Least Terns that flew back and forth
over the water and landed several times on the mudflat on the north end.
Also present were one Great Blue Heron, 16 Snowy Egrets, several
Killdeer, 3 Spotted Sandpipers, 1 Stilt Sandpiper, a mix of Semipalmated
and Least Sandpipers, and one Short-billed Dowitcher.

Just north in Anne Arundel county, at Herrington Harbor, there was a
single Solitary Sandpiper in the mud on the left side of the road where
the little bridge crosses the creek.
