You mention that you saw 2 Hermit Thrushes at Black Hill yesterday. How  sure 
of this sighting are you? Hermit Thrushes don't usually show up here in  
Montgomery County until late September. Could they have been Veeries, which  breed 
here locally in mature deciduous stream valleys,
 
How did you determine them to be Hermit Thrushes?
