I received a number of posts inquiring about directions to MPEA. It is located in Clarksville near the intersection of 32 and 108. There is a gravel parking lot off Trotter Road. At the lot there is a kiosk with an map. MPEA is a large area and only a small portion has trails. there is another entrance of Southwind circle which also has a kiosk. This entrance takes you into the "Clegg Meadow". We found the river "trail" in bad condition. The trails do quite a bit of winding around and a person could easily become lost!

I would consider the MPEA to be a fairly good passerine migrant area. Rockburn branch park is often better and easier to navigate.
