Cromwell Valley Park HawkWatch - 9/16/06

After spending six hours waiting for the overcast skies to clear we were rewarded with a small but 
exciting flight which began at 3:00pm. We almost missed a kettle of 41 Broad-winged Hawks 
because of the 3 Bald Eagles right over our watch site at the same moment! Also, the 9 Northern 
Harriers in one day may be a record for us. Sunday could be a good day as sites north of us (in 
PA.) reported some very impressive counts today.
