There were 4 Redheads (2 males and 2 females) at the lower end of
Centennial Lake in Howard County early Thanksgiving morning. They were
mixed in with many Canada Geese and other ducks. The other waterfowl
included Bufflehead, Canvasback, Ruddy Duck, Lesser Scaup (judging by
male's head shape), Ring-necked Ducks, and a small dabbling duck that I think
was a female Green-winged Teal. Poor light and distance made this bird hard
to ID. Another highlight was an adult Bald Eagle that flew over the lake.
