Hi all,

Went out waterfowl hunting today, much better than
Fri which was realy cold and very gusty wind.
Starting early at Piney Run, same birds except
Red-throated Loon and Green-winged Teal as reported
before, then to half frozen Study Rd pond, mostly
geese, mallards and one each Gadwall and Black Duck.
Then to Bethel Rd for a quick look again to see the
hummer. Made one brief appearance (hummer visit feeder
3X on Fri), then to Kershner's Pond with Common
Merganser # are up from Fri trip with 2 drakes and 17
hens along with 1 Redhead (still here), 1 Cackling
"Richardson's" Goose (zero on Fri), then to Black
Hill, one Long-tailed Duck, 2 Common Goldeneyes (one
on Fri) and 2 Canvasbacks and many, many Bufflehead
and Ruddy Duck and then to last stop at Centinnial
Lake which has over 1000 geese, along with 1 Cackling
"Richardson's Goose" and two larger than Cackling, 1
drake Pintail, 1 drake Canvasback. I had to stop by
145pm to pick up my grandmother to my place for my
birthday.
Full report to come up later.
