Yesterday, Sunday January 28, I decided to give Dorchester County a
rest and spent the morning roaming around Talbot. As the morning
progressed, the intermittent rain grew heavy at times and the
overcast was very heavy. Nonetheless, I managed to locate 59
species, including a nice flock of American Pipits in a field along
Sharp Road, one Cackling Goose at Pickering Creek, a lone male
Redhead at the Easton Sewage Treatment Plant (upper pond), along
with a good selection of raptors around the county.

Best,
Norm
