Hi all,

I am well aware of the "origin" and "scope" of the GBBC. I merely suggested
that its name be changed, then, to accurately reflect what it really is,
just a bird count og sprvies seen anywhere.

And as such, to be statistically significant, shouldn't each week be a
"count week" and then a yearly, or seasonally, average taken?
Scientifically, a single observation, or experiment, doesn't hold much
water.

Food for birders' thoughts....

Good birding,
Richard
