Greetings,

-A quick note to mention that I had a Hermit Thrush passing through the yard
yesterday. This is definitely the latest that I have had them in my yard
(Hances point south of North East, Cecil County). I also saw at least 200
D-c Cormorants on the North East River. There were at least a dozen Ospreys
and four Bald Eagles. I am nearly positive that there is a Bald Eagle nest
up in an isolated tidal swamp about a mile north of my house.

Side note: I had my first ever yard-muskrat last week. It continues still
(as of yesterday). We have had Beavers (den up in the woods east of the
yard) and nutria (one sickly fellow last year) but never muskrat! Just need
an otter now (wishful thinking)...

Good Birding,
Chris Starling
North East, (Cecil County), MD
