A chilly morning seemed to make the birds more active, at
least initially as the sun first hit the trees on the ridge.
Good warbler (and thrush) diversity, but no big surprises.
Warblers seen & heard by me & others (15 species total):
NASHVILLE, NORTHERN PARULA, CHESTNUT-SIDED, MAGNOLIA,
BLACK-THROATED BLUE, YELLOW-RUMPED, BLACK-THROATED GREEN,
BLACKBURNIAN (bright male singing at the ridge), BLACKPOLL,
BLACK-AND-WHITE, AMERICAN REDSTART, WORM-EATING (heard at
the horse field south of the ridge), OVENBIRD, COMMON
YELLOWTHROAT, and CANADA.

Other notables: YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO, FISH CROW, VEERY,
GREY-CHEEKED & SWAINSON'S THRUSH, lots of SCARLET TANAGERS,
and a ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK.
