I made a loop around Lake Artemesia today 07:30-08:15. The highlight was a
female Wood Duck with two chicks in tow. In addition, I saw another pair.
Also of note, a male Ruddy Duck, in full alternate plumage, was taking a
snooze in the middle of the late. It seems a bit late, though I did note
two males there last week.
Lastly, the place was awash in Cedar Waxwings. I counted 70, but there
were easily way more than that present. On Tuesday, I thought a count of
40+ was good, but the number today easily exceeded that.

Otherwise, pretty much usual suspects. I noted six Purple Martins at the
martin box.

Who is the PG County records person? I'd like to compile my records that
I've accumlated since March 1, some may be of interest.
