While monitoring birds in Rock Creek park today, I heard what was almost
certainly a Corvus species that didn't sound like any American Crow or Fish
Crow vocalization(s) that I'm familiar with. The first thought that the
hoarse quality of the call brought to mind was that it was a Common Raven,
though I'm not terribly familiar with the vocalizations of this species. I
did check Raven calls online as well as on CD, and there seems to be
a match.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
