Hello Everybody,

Three birders from the Harford Bird Club (Maryland Ornithological Society)
and I had an immature ICELAND GULL today at Port Mahon in a mixed flock of
Herring, Ring-billed, Laughing, and Great Black-backed Gulls about 1/4 mile
inland from the natural gas docking area.  The apparently 2nd year bird
posed for several photos and stood out like the proverbial sore thumb.  Not
the rarest bird in the world, but a treat in June!  Other birds of note at
that location include a single non-breeding plumage Bonaparte's Gull,
several thousand Semipalmated Sandpipers, high numbers of Ruddy Turnstones,
and countless dead / dying / egg-laying Horseshoe Crabs.
