Hi, 

I went to Hughes Hollow this morning before 9:30 am,
and failed to see the Cattle Egret.  I did see three
or four RED-HEADED WOODPECKERS; has anybody else found
them at Hughes Hollow during the past couple of
months?  Also present were three Great Egrets, many
Green Herons, inquisitive Common Yellowthroats, three
Ospreys, a close Bank Swallow, and myriads of Tree
Swallows.  No purely southeastern birds, aquatic or
not, were noted.
