Hi all. I took a quick visit before work out to the point this morning. There was an Empid in the Cedar Tree. I took some picture I have my opinion about the bird. I have asked the advise of a good friend today and his opinion is still to come.
If you feel like you are good on Empid ID's or have some experience with these confusing birds, let me know what you think.
The first 5 photos are of the bird from today. The last photo is one I took on Sept. 1st.
By the way, the I wish I could have stayed. It was packed with Warblers. Just about all of them were there today. Also, Thrushes are really coming in as well. I didn't have time to work on them much, but they were flying up off the road and calling in the woods. Swainsons, Veery and Woods for sure.
