On Tuesday, the 18th of September, we spent 3 hours at the Lockhouse Museum looking for
migrating raptors, Broad-winged Hawks being our target species. With scattered clouds
against a blue sky, we should have been able to pick out any high flying hawks. Not a single
BW was seen all morning. Several other area sites had similar numbers. Only a couple of
Kestrals and Sharp-shins were seen.
No watch was conducted on Wednesday the 19th, and I hope to spend a few hours on
Thursday morning at the DAVID CRAIG PARK area just south of the RR bridge to see what's
flying
