Hi all. This afternoon at work I was hearing many Palm Warblers chipping over at the hedge across the street from my job trailer. In-between the Palm chips, I was hearing a slightly more metallic sounding Swamp Sparrow chip. I left my desk and went over across the street and had at least 10 Palms. I walked down to the back end of the hedge and pished for like one second and the Lincolns Sparrow Popped right up. Crest showing, and chipping. He was so cooperative. Unlike my camera today. The photos turned out ok not great but I am happy over all. What a great find to be able to photograph.

Also, I was heading into town on Saturday and picked up a Swainson's Thrush in the road that I saw get hit by an on coming Truck. He/She ended up being fine after a good 10 minute recovery. I did manage to snap a few photos of that one as well. http://www.smbirdphotos.com/index.cgi?do=view_photos&subcatID=96
