Saw a Common Raven early this morning (Nov 24) flying over Brokenland
Parkway just east of Route 29. Other bird highlights this weekend were an
adult male Purple Finch at a feeder near Lake Elkhorn, Tree Sparrows in
private property near Alpha Ridge Park, mixed flocks of robins and Cedar
Waxwings feasting on the crab apples in my neighborhood, and, just over the
line in Baltimore County, 3 Red-breasted Nuthatches foraging in the
evergreens at the entrance to the Woodstock Job Corps Center on Old Court
Road.
