I was so surprised to find a loon at Lilypons yesterday that I 
didn't consider the even more unlikely possibility that it might 
be a Red-throated.  However, after an exchange of emails off 
list with Leslie Starr, who arrived with her husband after I had
left, I now believe that the bird I saw yesterday was indeed a 
Red-throated Loon.
