MD Osprey:

Just a reminder ... Common Redpolls are NOT a records committee 
review species; however, Hoary Redpolls ARE a review species.

To add confusion to the mix, it is generally considered that some 
Commons (especially first years and females) may not be 
distinguishable from Hoarys in the field.
