After leaving the Carroll County / Keysville Rd Short-eared Owls this evening, I
found another Short-eared Owl over in Frederick County. It was on Four
Points Rd east of Motters.

There is a nearby house for sale at 10021 Four Points Rd. (only $599,990
for "over 3500 sq. ft. of living space!"). If you are coming east from Rt 15,
the field is on the right (south) side of Four Points Rd. just before you get to
the house.

Parking isn't great, but there is a small asphalt covered pulloff over a drainage
pipe on the south side of Four Points Rd.

Thanks to the miracle of cell phone technology, Stan Arnold and Barbara
Gearheart (and their respective crews) were also able to see the bird.
