Jim Stasz just called to report that the White-winged Crossbill was present in Silver Spring from 11:20 - 11:40am today. He said other birders had it in the scope when he arrived and it flew off shortly after he saw it.? If I understood correctly, it was in the trees between Sligo Creek Parkway and the feeder, but not at the feeder.
