Today, 28 Jan '08, a mid-morning drive around various county roads
yielded a viewing of two Palm Warblers. These were in the south-eastern
part of the county, along Jamaica Point Road.
At home near Leeds Creek the shooting has stopped and the Canada Geese
seem to be celebrating.
A couple of days ago a pair of Hooded Mergansers showed up near the
goose flock. Yesterday a Winter Wren was present along my driveway, and our
carefully hoarded Pine Siskins keep feasting at our feeders each day.
