At home shortly after sunrise at least 600 Red-winged Blackbirds passed over heading roughly northwest. Later this morning at Morgan Run NEA it was overcast and windy. It was not at all birdy with the most notable sightings being an adult Cooper's Hawk, a flock of 15 Cedar Waxwings, 3 Towhees, and a small flock of Grackles.
This afternoon at Piney Run Park it was sunny and windy. Waterfowl numbers have declined significantly with birds departing not being replaced by enough incoming migrants. Approximate numbers were:

Canada Goose 230
Tundra Swan 3, been there all winter
Black Duck 18
Mallard 5
Canvasback 5
Ring-necked Duck 1 female
Greater Scaup 4, two pairs
Lesser Scaup 4, all males
Bufflehead 15
Hooded Merganser 25
Common Merganser 115
Ruddy Duck 30
Pied-billed Grebe 17
Great Blue Heron 4
Coot 25
Ring-billed Gull 20
