Winter migrants:

Still here: Red-breasted Nuthatch, Fox & White-throated Sparrows, Juncos,
Winter Wren.
Gone?	Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (not seen for several weeks).

Early Migrants:

Woodcock still very active (6 heard last night).
Eastern Phoebe heard but not seen.
Merlin/flyover & Rusty Blackbirds/brief visitors (both new yard birds)

Resident Bird Activity:

Bluebirds have completed nests in two boxes.
Field, Song Sparrows, Eastern Towhees are very vocal.
Red-shouldered Hawks are building a nest behind the barn.
Red-bellied Woodpecker pair is caching sunflower seeds between the deck
boards. The seed just falls through, but the Red-bellies try this every
spring.

Wild Turkey has been calling every morning from deep within the park since
last weekend.
