Didn't think to post about the large number of Common  Nighthawks I saw 
recently until I began reading MD-Ospreys from the past two  days where sightings 
were listed.
Friday night I was on a deck off of West St. in Annapolis and  looked up and 
saw at least 20 Common Nighthawks soaring around.  It was  11:30pm and the 
"city lights" were reflecting off of the white bars on their  wings.  They were 
stunning.
 
Also, I was asked by Les Roslund to post to the list the last  day I had Pine 
Siskins at my feeders-for the record.  It was May  5th.  I waited to be sure 
there weren't any lagging behind before I  posted.
