Jeff and others,

I saw this bird early Tues morning while kayaking at north end of Jug Bay. It was around 610am when it flew north on AACo side near Jug Bay Wetands Sanctuary. I use Patuxent Wetlands Park launch site as it has no hours limit. The sanctuary launch site won't open till 8am after confirm by phone the day before. I launch before 530am and got there a little after 6am after paddle non-stop as i wanted to get to Jug Bay as possible at the north end. After the ibis flew off north, I explore the rest of the Jug Bay for over an hour before head back north in time to get to Oxbow Lake around mid morning. 40 minutes drive from Rt 2-4 to Oxbow and found a pair of Least Bittern with a possible a downy chick as there is a movement on nest. Quite a few waders and other birds at the lake. Later, went on to Church View Farm from Cecil Ave and saw 33 Cattle Egrets on dead tree by the pond and then it back home by dinner in O.C.

Will post full report later as I'm still working here in O.C.
