Hola all,

Today I joined Sandy Farkas, Dave Sperling (sp.?), and Larry Meade in a quest to see the Black-headed Gull in Prince George's County. We were in Eagle Harbor and Cedar Haven for more than an hour beginning around 1 pm, before Sandy spotted (yay!) the gull on a pier north of the end of Trueman Point Road. After savoring the beauty of this uncommon visitor, we all left quietly so as to not disturb it. The hybrid gull we did not see. In Eagle Harbor, Larry spotted a Cooper's Hawk carrying what appeared to be a Common Grackle, with crows in close attendance.
