Hi Folks!

The worst part of storm birding is looking into the wind and rain. On the
western shore, Fort Smallwood in Anne Arundel and Fort Howard in Baltimore
provide opportunities to look out over the Bay or into Baltimore Harbor. The
former would allow an observer to stay in their car and use that as a rain and
wind shelter. Tydings Marina at Havre de Grace and Lapidum in Harford could
also be productive.

Inland lakes may have short-term visitors: Loch Raven, Liberty, Piney Run,
Centennial, Triadelphia and Black Hills come to mind.

On the Eastern Shore by the bay, Eastern Neck NWR in Kent, Terrapin Point
Park in Queen Anne's. Blackwalnut Point in Talbot and Hooper's Island in
Dorchester are all possibilities.

Have fun!

Jim
