CROMWELL VALLEY PARK HAWKWATCH   9/13/08

A very slow day with only 16 raptors counted in just over 5 hours.  The warm front that moved into our region was not helpful .  Several watch-sites to our north and west had some nice flights of Broad-winged Hawks, and it appears that the big push is just beginning to start.  Once the predicted cold-front moves into our area on Monday or Tuesday we hope to see large numbers of BW hawks move through.
