Folks,

My friend and MDOSPREY poster Chris Murray texted me this morning
about a white hawk with a dark tail that he watched being mobbed by
some crows on US Rt 50 near Bowie. I suspect it was near Bowie,
although it could be anywhere between Annapolis and New Carrolton. I
told him that the bird could have been a Krider's Red-tailed? But
just moments ago, there was a post on Delaware's listserv about a
SWAINSON'S HAWK at Cape Henlopen today.

And though Chris' description in a brief text doesn't sound quite like
a Swainson's, the point of this post is merely to say...

Keep your eyes on the skies.

Enjoy your birding,
