Hello All,
I was anticipating a slow morning with a stiff breeze howling out of the northwest. But I was able to find nice assortment of birds by working the lee sides of the woods, although the list did consist of a lot of one of this and one of that. The highlights were 4 Pine Siskins (3 flyovers in MD and 1 with the goldfinches in the food plot in DE) and 2 brownie Purple Finch (in the woods on Kinder Rd in MD). The Purple Finch were the FOS for me.
Other sightings of interest were at least 5 Bald Eagles of various ages, a male Harrier enjoying the weedy field (seen several weeks in a row), the return of some Robins (after seeing <10 a day for the last 2 months), 5 pipits and 7 Cedar Waxwings (an uncommon winter visitor here). 43 species in all.

Good Birding,
