At 8:40 AM there was an adult golden eagle soaring over the fields at the intersection of Harper's Farm Rd and Sheppards Lane. I lost sight of it over the trees after about 5 minutes.

Also early this morning (7 AM) there were about 400 common mergansers at Brighton Dam. And the winds were downright nasty...
