Friday afternoon (1/09) about 3:30 a Bald Eagle flew low over 21st & M Sts NW, heading WNW.  I think it was scoping out inaugural perches.
And as I watched it disappear, I noticed a Red-tailed Hawk circling just NW of the intersection, but a bit higher.
