We've stopped at the Portside on several occasions & have found it to be good.  It's on Maryland Ave just before the bridge & Market St. on your way to see the TUDU.

I would also like to suggest that when birders visit here, to make an 
economic impact, albeit small, on the community by spending some 
money there ... eat lunch in Cambridge, buy gas, etc.

Maybe Les or Norm or other Dorchester/Talbot locals could recommend a 
few quaint places to eat in town other then the usual Rt 50 
selections! Maybe if only one or two places were recommended, the 
birding impact might be a bit more visible. Since the marina 
sign-in/sing-out sheet does not seem to be a sighting log, per se, 
perhaps having a sighting sheet posted in a  local restaurant would 
also entice birders to drop in(?)
