! male Red-breasted Merganser was seen from the dam at about 3:00 today. 
And the wind was probably even more brutal today, but at least I was dressed 
more warmly.  An immature Bald Eagle also appeared.  Lots of Common 
Mergansers, I noted nothing else other than Ring-billed and a few Herring 
Gulls.
