This morning I did some birding at Marshy Point Nature Center in Chase. I was hoping for some warmer weather but it was cold and windy. There were some great birds, I must have seen about 8 or more Brown Creepers. It seemed like every tree I looked at had one crawling around. There were Downies, Hairys and RedBellied woodpeckers. Lots of RW Blackbirds. Cardinals, Junco, WB Nuthatches, Titmouse, WT Sparrows and a great view of a Fox Sparrow. On the water we saw lots of Tundra Swans, Common Mergansers, Hooded Mergansers, Mallards, Canada geese and few other ducks I could not id. If you would like to see pic's number 139 is one of the Brown Creepers I saw.
