Nothing too exciting today, but I got out for a few hours this afternoon
before the spectacular storm clouds rolled in, and saw two Horned Larks
somewhere in southern Cecil County, and several Black Vultures soaring. We
had Pine Siskins at the feeder, too, where the Goldfinches are showing lots
of yellow in their heads and a wooly bear caterpillar was making its way
across the moss in the front yard.

Glory-of-the-Snow is up all over, Mourning Doves are getting amorous, and
Juncos are getting feisty.

I love this time of year!
