Well, a Little Blue Heron is a MUCH greater rarity than Green Heron in DC!
In fact, a bird many DC listers would "twitch" so hope it stays around.

DC has an odd list of "desired rarities" which include such "cripplers" as
Mute Swan and Cattle Egret...
